Hello! I’m Kamaria Boston—mother, childcare professional, entrepreneur, and owner of Play Datez! Child Development Center. I understand how easy it is for parents and caregivers to become so focused on caring for everyone else that we forget to care for ourselves.
To me, self-care is not selfish or simply about looking good. It is about taking a few intentional moments to recharge, feel confident, and reconnect with the person you are beyond your daily responsibilities. When we make space to care for ourselves, we are better able to show up with patience, confidence, and love for our children, families, and communities.
That is why Mary Kay fits so naturally into my journey. It gives me an opportunity to help other women create simple self-care routines, discover products that support their personal beauty needs, and feel good about taking a little time for themselves.
If you are looking for skincare, beauty products, gifts, or a few well-deserved moments of self-care, I invite you to visit my Mary Kay page. Let’s remember: caring for yourself is part of caring for your family.

When changes in my career led me to bring my youngest son home from daycare, our daily routine had to change too. I was working remotely, parenting, and figuring out how to create an environment at home where he could continue learning, playing, and developing throughout the day.
My first idea was to create a guide for other parents like me—parents navigating career changes, childcare transitions, remote work, or simply looking for ways to create a meaningful learning space at home. I began thinking about how an ordinary home office or spare space could become a simple at-home classroom without requiring a huge budget.
As I created that learning environment for my son, I searched both in stores and online for affordable educational materials. There were plenty of learning activities available, but I kept noticing something I wanted more of: representation.
I wanted my Little Sir to regularly see children who looked like him reflected in the worksheets, activities, and educational materials he used.
So I began creating my own.
Using my son as inspiration, I started designing learning activities featuring characters and images he could identify with. His response was something I’ll never forget. He was excited to see a little boy who looked like him. He recognized himself in his learning materials, became more excited to engage with his work, and took pride in what he was accomplishing.
That experience changed the direction of my original idea.
What began as a plan to help parents create learning spaces at home grew into something bigger: Little Sir’s & Co.—a place for meaningful early learning resources and experiences designed to help Little Sirs feel seen, build confidence, stay curious, and discover the joy of learning.
